Warren Buffett and the Art of Stock Arbitrage: Proven Strategies for Arbitrage and Other Special Investment Situations
Warren Buffett and the Art of Stock Arbitrage: Proven Strategies for Arbitrage and Other Special Investment Situations

Aretha Gospel
Aretha Gospel
Aretha Franklin was only 14 years old !!! when this absolutely terrific album of gospel music was recorded live,at her father's church, the Reverend C.L.Franklin.There was never such an amazing voice in the gospel field, and the live recording gives to this gigantic music a special, dramatic, intense feeling that could never be reached at a studio session. This extraordinay voice, which surely will make you cry,was the voice of a young girl who was on her way to glory. This may be one of the most important albums ever recorded in the history of great black music, wether it is jazz, blues,or gospel;I'll allways treasure this record as one of the highest masterpiece of singing.Aretha is bewildering, and maybe NOBODY ever sang with such emotion and perfection. This music is so intensive,so emotionnal,so rich,so unique that it will make you shiver and cry.You can't imagine what's in this CD,even if you listened to a lot of gospel. That's simply terrific.
"there's a fountain filled with blood" is sung almost a cappella by Aretha, with only piano and organ background, and exhortations by the members of the church. Her absolutely perfect voice marvels here."Precious Lord" is a masterpiece,a very great moment in the history of singing;there is an unbelievable dramatic intensity here, that was rarely equalled. This music is so intense that I can't find my words to describe it."You grow closer" is another great tune, somptuously sung by Aretha. And so are the other tunes.
You,jazz, blues or gospel lover, you have to own this exceptionnal record. If you don't like the music Aretha FRanklin did later, just listen to "Never grow old" and you'll have to admitt that you're listening to some of the most essential minutes of the music you like. This is,forgive me if I'm repeating this,an extremely important record.Don't miss it.
Let's Do...Organic Heavy Coconut Cream, 13.5 Ounce Can, White
Let's Do...Organic Heavy Coconut Cream, 13.5 Ounce Can, White
Did you say "KETO"? What is this HEAVY stuff mean? So, you're on this new adventure with being fat adapted, which means that instead of your body & brain wanting sugar/carbs that turn into glucose/glycogen...you burn both sugars AND fats. So, how can this help? Well, read on...

As YOU can see in the photo...this heavy coconut cream is thick! Much thicker than the Thai coconut used only for soups...yummy there. I just pulled this out of the refrigerator and it is like loose jello before it has fully hardened. You can see the indentation still on the surface from my spoons scoop.

And in the photo you see my Saturday morning HEAVEN. There is the metal coffee drip filter which I used with a doubled coffee filter which had been rinsed with ordinary tap water to remove paper flavors...so, you see a 3 day cold brewed French Roast fine grind coffee slider that has NO BITTERNESS & IT IS NATURALLY SWEET TOO. 2 TABLE of Heavy Coconut Cream...and today stronger Vietnamese rather than Madagascar cinnamon sitting right on top of my coffee. Then, my home grown limes which I tested with a MICROPLANE wonder. This zest adds a subtle brightness to my cup of Joe! Peruvian organic cacao sits on the left glass jar...none today. On the right are salt from Maldon in the UK and a Japanese seaweed salt in which each grain seems to be "handmade" from the inland seas...magical.

But I digress!

The coconut flavor is spectacular!

In case you didn't get it, it's simply out of this world!

Does it taste like raw coconut? Well, actually it tastes like heavy cow's cream which sat in a mound of fresh coconut pulp overnight. If someone didn't tell you there's no dairy and that there is coconut...YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY MISS IT COMPLETELY. Again, just a slight hint of coconut.

As YOU stir it...it gently evenly mixes with my cold coffee.

Recall, this keto friendly coffee has NO BITTERNESS because I brewed it without the heat which pulls out the acidic oils that are bitter! So, my coffee is deeeeee icious! Want some? I know you do.

The kiss of zested lime sits on the top of my cup as if it was a floral note...like sipping coffee on the front porch of a bungalow on the island of Bora Bora after a gentle rain left birds chirping on the still damp leaves...sipping coffee, watching the sun rise, feet up on a railing...letting the mind wander over the best Heavy Coconut Cream with lime zest, Vietnamese cinnamon and cold-brewed coffee. Heaven! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Magnasonic Professional Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner Machine for Cleaning Eyeglasses, Watches, Rings, Necklaces, Coins, Razors, Dentures, Combs, Tools, Parts, Instruments (CD2800)
Magnasonic Professional Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner Machine for Cleaning Eyeglasses, Watches, Rings, Necklaces, Coins, Razors, Dentures, Combs, Tools, Parts, Instruments (CD2800)
I own several pieces of jewelry, ranging from bracelets to rings, along with a few necklaces for variety. While I swap most pieces out depending upon the occasion, I wear three rings, two bracelets, and one necklace every day. The necklace is a sterling silver dragon holding an orb, a charm that is handmade and was given to me 23 years ago. And yes, during that time span I have worn this necklace nearly constantly, so you can likely imagine the buildup on it (note: I have cleaned it with jeweler’s cloths and gels, but it’s a pain in the posterior).

Construction

As others have mentioned in their reviews, the Magnasonic® Jewelry Cleaner (MJC for short) has a stainless steel tub that holds the cleaning liquid that is not removable. While some may consider this a flaw, the unit is relatively small and it is not that difficult to drain. To be blunt, if this aspect of the design is such a huge inconvenience, you need to stop being lazy and look at the fact that the MJC works well.

This point aside, included with the unit are a plastic basket to hold your jewelry/silverware/nibs & etc., as well as a curved plastic platform that rests inside of the aforementioned basket. As demonstrated in the product images, this “hump” is meant to allow a watch or other piece of curves jewelry to rest properly within the cleaning liquid. This aspect of the design does give me one complaint: I wish that there was a handle or some type of tool that made it easier to remove the basket when you are finished with the cleaning cycle. The basket slides into the stainless steel basin and is a nearly-flush fit, and while the basket doesn’t become “stuck”, it would be nice if I didn’t have to finagle it out of the unit.

Overall the MJC is a compact unit that is easy to store due to the cleaning basket and watch rest fitting inside of the cleaner when it is not in use. The Jewelry Cleaner also has two buttons on the rim of the lid (On and Off, respectively), and a blue light will turn on to let you know when the 3-minute cleaning cycle is finished. The unit’s clear lid is also illuminated while cleaning so that you can watch your watch (hehe) as the MJC works its magic.

But, Does It Work?

Yes! I admit that I was skeptical at first. After all, how could plain water clean my jewelry, glasses, and the various other items that Magnasonic® claims this unit will scrub for you? Especially considering that aside from some very tiny bubbles, there doesn’t seem to be much happening as you watch the cleaning cycle through the plastic viewing lid.

While it doesn’t specify it as being necessary, I used distilled water in the cleaner along with four droplets of Dawn dish soap. I didn’t swish the water around, either, allowing the soap to dissolve into the liquid. The first item to go in was my glasses. After three minutes of buzzing I removed them, rinsed the residual soap off of the lenses, and dried them with a lint-free paper towel. The result? Gunk floating in the water and glasses so clean that you would swear that I just picked them up from the store today!

Native Birds Kids Bamboo Toothbrush with Soft Bristles, Set of 4 Eco Friendly Toothbrushes, BPA Free
Native Birds Kids Bamboo Toothbrush with Soft Bristles, Set of 4 Eco Friendly Toothbrushes, BPA Free
So I let my 2yr old and 1yr old brush their teeth for 1minute then I sit down to help then with their teeth. The way my kids go through toothbrushes always made me want to be more sustainable with their toothbrushes, but the last time I tried toddler bamboo brushes the handles hurt their hands and the design of the head would hurt their mouths.

With these toothbrushes they have a rounded handle which is SO MUCH easier to hold! And my 1yr old has a tendency to chew on her toothbrush (as comes with the age) and she only had one bristle come out in a weeks use. Which to me is pretty impressive.

I think the bristles could be a smidgen firmer, as they're super soft which for a 1yr old and 2yr old is a good thing, but I'd feel like it was cleaning a bit more if they were firmer but in all honesty that's the only somewhat negative thing I can think of concerning them. It's a fantastic price for 4 and they're different colors which is super handy because my girls can go and get their own brushes and get started on their teeth before I even make it to the bathroom.

I'll definitely be ordering again!

I haven't had any issues at all with video quality watching this on my Windows PC.
The series covers mostly Canadian crimes so the stories are new to me - a big plus since I've watched every episode of Forensic Files and most of the First 48 series. The subject matter is interesting but there are lots of overdramatic, stretched-out filler moments. Overall a good watch for True Crime buffs looking for something different.

InuYasha, Vol. 49
This series was full of heart, full of mystery, full of action and adventure. The anime is wonderfully written and the soundtrack is superb. The manga is powerful. It contains alot of things the anime wasnt able to give you. There is alot more detail and alot more character elements in the manga. That being said every single piece of this wonderful series is worth buying and Amazon offers one of the best prices youll find to collect it without going bankrupt.

The Cat in the Hat/El Gato Ensombrerado (The Cat in the Hat Spanish Edition): Bilingual Edition (Classic Seuss)

Word of Mouse
Word of Mouse
This is such a lovely story about Isaiah the little mouse. Sadly Isaiah started life in a laboratory and has been bred especially by the laboratory for experimental purposes. He has 96 brothers and sisters and the laboratory has tagged him on the ear with his number, 97. He is bright blue like the sky and turns out to be a very heroic and smart mouse. He manages to escape with his family of other mice but he is the only one that does not get recaptured.

The journey he goes on as a lonely mouse soon turns to adventure with lots of interesting and clever adventures. He is not your typical common mouse but a rather special mouse that has plenty of unique and useful talents.

The book is very witty, funny and touching. It is beautifully written with lots of words and facts that are slipped in that parents would be happy for their 9 - 11 year old children to know.

Each chapter starts with a quote from none other than Isaiah himself. He is a very charming and brave mouse and regularly reminds his fellow mice that they are mice not rats and therefore superior.

The story has of good morals throughout. There are lots of parts that are very touching, cute, compassionate and sweet. He even has a love interest. The illustrations are amazing and really catch the mood of the scene being described.

I highly recommend this book, it is very special and so beautifully written. I read it in a few hours and couldn't put it down. I was keen to know how it was going to end and the ending was just as special as the rest of the book.

After reading the book it makes you realise that we are all one, we are not that different from Isaiah really ;-)

I have the kindle version and have added photographs.

Jay Franco Home Twin Comforter-Bedding Features, Ron, Hermoine, Hagrid, and Dumbledore, Gray Harry Potter
In a hurry to get last minute presents for Christmas, I ordered the Overwatch set for my son, as he is a huge fan. I thought I was getting the full set as opposed to just the comforter, as I was paying $45 for it. Although I understand why they include the photos of the matching sheet set, I wish that it was more blatant that it is just the comforter.
As it stands now, I’m displeased that you can buy the set for $64, after looking more diligently, and the sheets are $35 separately. I contacted the company and explained my displeasure hoping they might work with me or offer to help me out by potentially allowing me to purchase the sheets at a lower price to where I can get the bundle deal. No offer was made. I don’t really want to invest $80 in a 7 year old’s sheets. And would end up having to return the comforter, wait for the refund, repurchase the bundle and then wait on delivery. It’s just a lot of work and waiting.

All in all, the comforter is soft. I didn’t take it out of the packaging to really look at it. It seems like every other child’s bedding set. Which honestly for the price is kind of a rip off.
Hearts Afire
Hearts Afire
I watched this when it aired on television and it was the days of the big box tv , black and white even!

I've been pleasantly surprised to watch it again on Amazon Prime and enjoy it so much! The Thomasons created 'Designing Women,' which frankly, I don't think I can stomach any more - the cloying sassy progressive women who embrace careers ('The Sugarbaker Women' ) would be difficult to watch. This show, on the other hand, has aged well.

John Ritter has a reputation for having great comedic chops but this series really highlights his smooth sexy boyish charm. One of the most romantic scenes I have ever watched was in season 1. it featured Ritter wearing a gold lame dress and it was oh, so romantic. Really! The guy knew his way around a woman's psyche and was obviously a fantastic kisser! Either he was just very talented in all the best moves or he and Markie Post were having a hot hot HOT affair off-screen for three seasons.

The script is amusing but sometimes inspired. The Thomasons could get away with a lot. They brought back Conchita Farrell in a completely different role - yet strangely similar to a previous role (from the first season to the second). They switched the environment from government to newspaper publishing in a heartbeat. They plopped Billy Bob Thornton into the home of the central characters, accompanied by his little daughter like a puppy. Where family ends and where family begins - who can tell in this show?

I probably will watch this entire series again from start to finish. It's full of humor, it romantic, and it has good family values. What's not to love?

13th Birthday Party Decorations Kit Happy Birthday Banner with Number 13 Birthday Balloons for Birthday Party Supplies 13th Rose Gold Birthday Party Pack
The balloon set was beautiful, my 13 year old loved rose gold color, unfortunately when I brought the set of balloons to be filled with helium, one of the numbers was defective and deflated pretty quickly-it had a hole in it. I had to buy another number 1 inflatable air-filled ballon same day at a nearby store and unfortunately they only had silver color available. I guess it could’ve been worse.
Dogxiong Silver/Light Blue/Grey/Platinum Sim Card Tray & Micro SD Memory Card Holder Container Replacement for LG G6
Dogxiong Silver/Light Blue/Grey/Platinum Sim Card Tray & Micro SD Memory Card Holder Container Replacement for LG G6
As stated in headline, this is NOT a glass door cover for the LG G6. It is just another hard-plastic cover replacement. I am aware that the listing title "Genuine Glass Door Case Replacement" is construed to be a replacement to the glass OEM glass cover, but I was really hoping it meant the title literally, implying I would get another glass cover for my phone.

I feel further scammed after the seller answered this question: "is this gorilla glass or just plastic?" with "the same with original glass. don't worry!!!!!" under the Customer Questions section of this product. Reading this prior to ordering the product, I felt confident I was getting some new glass for my phone.

I would leave less stars but the door cover replacement does fit well, is packaged nicely, and has pre-installed adhesive to attach back to my phone. I just wanted the quality of the OEM glass, which this product is certainly lacking.

CHUWI Herobook Pro 14.1 inch Windows 10 Intel N4000 Dual Core 8GB RAM 256GB ROM Notebook,Thin and Lightweight Laptop,BT4.0 (Herobook Pro(2020))
Before I start with this review I just want to say I needed a budget laptop to be able to do my school work and join Zoom calls,I’m a college student and didn’t have much money and didn’t want to spend $400 plus for school, but that all changed until I found this beauty🥳

1.The overall quality of this laptop is just amazing, you get a nice feel to the keyboard and pad not too slippery and not to grindy ,it was just right. Now I uses to use a 15.6 inch laptop 👨‍💻(this is just a 14.1,not much of a difference),but it broke so I had to improvise,so this laptop is smaller than my old one but I got use to it in 1 day👍,the color of this laptop is also very sleek🥰✅

2.This laptop is very easy to use, what I mean by that is the software on this laptop is Windows, which means in the left hand corner the windows icon prompts you to everything you need, your emails,Spotify, calendar, weather app, calculator, alarm if you need it,anything you install, ect.I will also like to mention that the speed of this laptop is unbelievable,I usually have about 10 tabs open and this laptop is just too fast😋.So I ran a test and opened up 40 tabs,YES you heard that right and it ran so smooth almost mind blowing🤯,when you buy this laptop you can try it out yourself and see what I’m talking about.✅

3.The delivery time for this product was also very interesting and AMAZING🚚🤩,so I’ve ordered this laptop on the 2nd of October and it was estimated to arrive on the 8th(So ordered on Friday and estimated arrival on Thursday),but I was almost speechless and left in awe when I saw that it was guaranteed to arrive on SUNDAY😱,It was same day shipping on Friday, and arrived on Sunday so 1 day arrival.I was prepared on Monday to start my Freshman year right🥳✅

4.Now let’s look at the price for this item,$299 but $324 with tax(not shipping for me because I have Amazon prime)But just looking at what I’ve said so far and the price this laptop is a steal💪,you are able to load up any software for work and school, plus your able to play low stress game like league of legends.(I will add that you are unable to play games like GTA V,fortnite, ect)✅

5.The customer service for this item is where this laptop is an instant steal, inside of the packaging you are provided 3 key factors to this laptop.A warranty card for replacement and repaid for 1 full year after purchase l,a product inspection report, and then here is this......A VIP Card, yes you heard that right, you are given a 24/7 customer support agent for any problems you come across, not a bot but a real person which is a relief 🤓✅

Now after everything I just listed this laptop must be for anyone looking to binge, watch Netflix,YouTube, use for work, schoolwork, but also relax on some league of legends ✅👨‍💻
Thou Shalt Innovate: How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World
Thou Shalt Innovate: How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World
Avi Jorisch’s book offers a unique contribution to the growing literature on Israeli’s technical prowess and its global impact. Jorisch begins with two chapters that deal with Judaism’s commitment to tikkun olam, the idea of helping to repair the world and also on how from the very beginning the young state of Israel embraced the need to provide technological assistance to many of the newly independent African nations that emerged with the end of European imperialism. While in part this resulted from the self-serving need to build diplomatic relations with these countries to avoid international isolation, there was also a powerful sense that the new Jewish state should be a light upon the world. Between these chapters and a concluding section dealing with his own interest in the subject, are fifteen chapters dealing with how Israelis are changing the world for the better through remarkable technical innovations.
While some of his stories may be familiar to readers, such as Israel’s notable contribution in drip irrigation, others such as the Grain Cocoon invented by Shlomo Navarro, which helps farmers in the developing world stave off the serious loss of grain caused by insects, are less well known. Some of the companies he writes about (and part of the story he tells reveal the unique government/private partnerships in Israel that provides seed money from the government, leading to the formation of private companies) are on the cusp of making it big. Among these are ReWalk, a firm that makes an exoskeleton allowing for paraplegics to enjoy enhanced mobility, which sadly will not benefit its remarkable creator, Amit Goffer, because the ReWalk requires full control of one’s upper body, which Goffer’s own injury left impaired. Part of the appeal of the book is that it provides examples of cooperation between Israel’s often contentious Jewish, Arab and Christian citizens. Alpha Omega, the largest Arab led high-tech company in Israel, an innovator in devices for deep brain stimulation, makes devices that are used around the world in the treatment of epilepsy and other neurological diseases. Eli Beer’s clever transformation of motorcycles into mini-ambulances has led to volunteers from every segment of Israel’s population, including the Druze and Bedouin and ultra-Orthodox, racing to come to those in medical need. Avi Jorisch’s book is a fascinating look at how Israeli technology is changing the world for the better, while also showing that technology can build bridges between communities, perhaps offering a glimmer of hope for a more peaceful future in the Mideast.
Mother Earth News
Mother Earth News
My wife and I have had a subscription to Mother Earth News for a few years now. This is the first time I have ever ordered a magazine subscription through Amazon. It always arrives on time.

I like that MENews combines the hippy dippy with the old-school farmer. There are new ideas and tried and true methods. It is nice to see new ideas and also nice to know that the old ways are being preserved - perhaps even updated and built upon using new technology.

I like to see the two seemingly opposite worlds come together without going into a bunch of political, agenda-driven nonsense. It is a fine line to travel and MENews does a good job staying away from politics and just providing helpful information to people who depend on themselves, their ingenuity, and others who share a similar point of view.

Kastar Rechargeable Shaver Battery Pack AA 2.4V 2000mAh Fits Most Norelco, Remington Shaver Models and Others (deatil Compatible Models Please Search The Below Description)
I have a Norelco 7825 shaver for the past 25+ years. Not bad considering I only have to shave every other day. If you are reading this, you either have a shaver that the batter is not holding much of a charge or you want to know how to fix the one you have.

Youtube has plenty of videos on how to do this replacement even though the video may not be of the exact shaver, the process is pretty much the same.

For me, this was my findings. Taking apart the shaver is very easy. Two screws, remove the cover/side burn trimmer, a couple of metal supports, and there you have the circuit board and batteries exposed. Once you life the circuit board, you will see where the DC motor wires connect towards the front of the circuit board and the battery leads just behind those connections. When desoldering the battery connection be careful not to get some flux onto the surface between the battery + connection and the motor solder point. If you, like a few reviewers here, the shaver will continue to run even if you press the power button. Why? Because you have just basically directly connected the battery to to motor.

It happened to me so i know. I just scraped off the excess flux/solder the bridged the connection and it was fine. On my shaver, the leads off the new batteries were too short. So I ended up cutting the leads off the old battery with a dremel. This left some leads sticking up to solder the old/new ones together.

Same charger seemed to work fine, although NiMH charging requirements are slightly different than that if NiCads, for its intent and purposes, should be no real world problems.

Recommended to purchase this if you are comfortable with basic soldering and hand tools. No need to replace the shaver if all else considered is working fine.

iCarez Anti Blue Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7-Inches Tray Installation (Case Friendly) Easy Apply [ 2-Pack 0.33MM 9H 2.5D]
I’ve done a review of my last purchase purchase of this screen saver. I have experienced the durability; dropped my phone with no scratches. I made a second purchase because my husband was so impressed to see how it looked on my phone. He decided before he got his phone that he was not going to put a screen protector on his phone until he saw mine. The first order my son and I used and he loves it as well. I will buy again and highly recommend this screen protector.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max (64GB) - Midnight Green
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max (64GB) - Midnight Green
I Love the iPhone Pro Max, purchased from Amazon IN, on Oct 14th 2019. This space grey 64 GB base model was delivered to me on Oct 19th. Here are my objective views about this phone:

What I didnt like:
1. Obviously the price tag. At Rs. 1,09099.00 is a major deterrent when it comes to decide on buying a phone.
2. The base model should certainly begin at 128 GB or higher. 64 GB is not gonna be enough when storing 4K videos.
3. Optical zoom in camera is still 2X, where as Android phones already have 5X zooms.

Now about what I love in this phone:

1. The Camera. That is the main reason I upgraded from iPhone X to 11 Pro Max. The Ultrawide lens, the improved telephoto lens, night mode, improved portrait options, all give exceptional results. The snaps taken by this phone could compete with some of the most professional DSLRs. 4K video recording support on front camera is an additional bonus.
2. Battery Life. All the reviews have been right about this. I used to charge my iPhone X every night, whereas for the same amount of usage, now I have to charge the 11 Prod max once in 2 nights.
3. Display. I was already a big fan of the 5.8' OLED display on the iPhone X. At 6.5' , 11 Pro Max offers the best OLED display I have come across smartphones.
4. Face ID is faster. The apps and the interface work smoothly as ever.
5. iOS 13, though still needs fixes, is a wonderful operating system. Dark mode is a welcome change.

Overall, this is a beast. Admire Apple for catching up with its android counterparts on several of the features. The 11 Pro Max is definitely a phone for amateur & professional photographers.

This is my first coffee machine and I've had it just over a month. I'm only an occasional coffee drinker but, when I have one, I want a good one. So I have no experience to fall back on, but did some research, read some 'Best....' list articles, spoke with my partner (who has owned coffee machines for many years), settled on a 'bean' machine (as opposed to filter/pod) and decided what features I wanted to prioritise.

Looking at what is available, I set a budget of £400 as a price-point within which I should be able to find something appropriate (there is a lot of competition in the £200-£300 bracket in particular). I'll admit that looks/colour came into it, though not if it compromised other requirements. I wanted something versatile (with adjustable strength, capacity and brewing temperature), that had an integrated milk frother, that could make two cups simultaneously and with auto-descaling and cleaning (I understand that this model will also accommodate an add-on water filter).

One of the main aspects of bean machine ownership is ease of access for cleaning and the Solo is great in this respect – just slide out the drawer from the bottom of the front of the unit and there is a reservoir from which the excess liquids can be emptied and a container which collects the used coffee grounds. The water container has a visible level, slides up and out from the left-hand side of the unit and has a carry-handle for refilling. The unit will also let you know when a more thorough clean needs to be carried out, though I haven't reached that point yet.

I've given the Solo 5 stars for each category and as an overall score because it fulfills the brief I gave it. However, being asked to rate 'flavour' is misleading, because it depends on the beans you are using and as for 'value for money', being my first machine, I don't have a reference point for that. For 'ease of use', yes, it did all seem rather complicated whilst going through the manual but actually, within a couple of days, it was second nature.

Gripes? Nothing significant; I can't seem to get two cups out of it at the same time of more than espresso-sized quantities (although one illustration seems to show two full-sized servings?) and there are no memory settings (although, as it's just me most of the time, neither is a deal-breaker).

Bean machines can be more expensive and less convenient to use than other types, but I decided that coffee variety and quality is important and investing this sort of money in a reliable unit that should last 5-10 years is quite cost-effective. The Solo is quick (about a minute for 'normal' coffee, about two for a cappuccino), versatile, has quite a small footprint for this type of machine, the frother works very well and I have it on good authority that the Solo is relatively quiet. Most importantly, according to my good lady (who is far more a connoisseur than I am), it makes great coffee. And as a bonus, it does look good sitting in my kitchen. If you're looking for the same things from a coffee machine that I was, then this seems like a pretty sensible choice.

Here is why I am totally upset & disgusted with this "office" chair. First off,, the brown chair does NOT have a pewter colored finished -- it's more of a matte gold. That was the very first thing we noticed as we started unpacking the pieces. This turned out to be just the beginning of our troubles.

Secondly, the screws for assembling the chair were too short. Whoever designed this should be doing something else for a living. We still cannot get the screws to stay tight. Basically, assembling this thing was a nightmare and we ended up needing THREE people to help finesse the parts into fitting together.

Finally, after TWO hours of fighting to get the chair assembled, we stood back to look at our finished product and discovered a small tear in the back of the chair that we never noticed when we unpacked it. Too late now. Also, the chair's arms won't stay tight -- they keep loosening up because of the lousy construction design. The chair is also uncomfortable because we're afraid to lean back in it or sit all the way against the back of it for fear of it falling apart. And finally, the little end caps, that are supposed to hide the screw heads, keep falling off because they weren't manufactured properly.

It's too late now to send the chair back. Who wants the hassle of taking this one apart, packing it back up and sending it back? If I could leave this chair zero stars, I would. I'm going to contact Amazon directly about all the issues we had with this product. I would suggest you pass when it comes to buying this chair until you have read ALL the reviews and viewed the videos that upset buyers posted. I sure wish I had been more diligent before buying it.

My wife wanted this item to primarily cook whole eggs in. She says they taste way better in this than just boiling them. But we had to find out how to do that from our neighbor. This unit is quiet and works as expected...but. It would be great to see a very much needed expansion of its cooking capabilities. Others foods with cooking times and cooking modes. Otherwise I just paid $200 for an alternative egg boiler. It's a pressure cooker basically....so where can I find additional uses for it. We are not big rice eaters, but really like this cooker and want to expand it's usage. Any help would be appreciated. This unit is nicely built and ls aesthetically pleasing on the counter top. It does take up some room though.
