I recently read this book and What Would Drucker Do Now?, written by Rick Wartzman and also published by McGraw-Hill. Initially, I suspected that both were (or will become) part of a "What Would X Do?" series that might also include Sun Tzu, Socrates, Machiavelli, and Von Clauswitz or, within the domain of business, Henry Ford, Albert Sloan, one or both of the Thomas Watsons, and Walt Disney. It turns out, the two "What Would" books share little in common, except for the quality of their content and of their authors' presentation of it.

Peter Sander devotes the first two chapters of his book to essential background information about Steve Jobs and Apple, then explores the meaning and significance of the book's title in several different ways. Here are two. First, what he characterizes as "The Steve Jobs Leadership Model" in Chapter 3, one that consists of six "steps" or elements. He also includes a suggestion by Jean-Louis Gassée, former Apple VP: "Democracies don't make great products - you need a competent tyrant." Jobs was certainly both and that is hardly a head-snapping revelation. The historical details of the model have been known for decades. The same competent tyrant who visited Xerox PARC with Steve Wozniak in 1979 also introduced a series of "insanely great" Apple products 25-30 years later. For better or worse, Jobs really was literally "one of a kind."

Hence the importance of Sander's second approach: A series of "What Would Steve Jobs Do?" sections at the conclusion of Chapters 4-9 in which he suggests lessons to be learned from Jobs in six subject areas: Customer (Page 103), Vision (124-125), Culture (153-154), Product (171-172), Message (190-191), and Brand (205-206). Almost anyone who reads this book can follow the advice provided (e.g. "Thank about customer pain and what causes it") but few - if any - can do so in ways and to the extent Steve Jobs could...and did. Most of the admonitions will serve as reminders rather than as revelations. Fair enough.

For those who wish to know more about Steve Jobs, there is no shortage of other sources, notably Walter Isaacson's biography. I also highly recommend Adam Lashinsky's Inside Apple and Leander Kahney's Inside Steve's Brain.

All students must develop critical ability to interpret a complex, globalized world. Knowing facts and interpreting them in an autonomous way are desirable skills for who wants to act in areas regarding with world affairs. This book offers excellent tools to achieve such goals! More than one vision about the same subject permits readers to form his own opinion; case studies, tables and key points notations help remarking main ideas; extra questions stimulate students to think about readings. All of that and much more make this a fantastic book!

This is an odd book. After the author buys a rare Apple-1 computer at a storage unit liquidation auction, he descends down a rabbit hole of learning about the people who originally created it, as well as the people who bought the originals or collected them later.

Apple-1’s are indeed rare; only a few hundred were originally made, and most of those were traded in (and later destroyed) as their owners eagerly exchanged them for more capable Apple ][‘s. Only a few dozen Apple-1’s are thought to still exist, and some have recently traded hands for hundreds of thousands of dollars. This book focuses entirely on this one original Apple product; so if you’re looking for a more general history of the company, its people or products, this isn’t it.

There isn’t much of a narrative thread to the book; it’s mostly a series of interviews of people connected with the Apple-1, either in the ‘70s when it was created or currently as collectors. Some of the stories are interesting, and do re-create Silicon Valley in the early ‘70s; a very different place from what it is now. The writing in the book is uneven, I noticed several misspellings (or perhaps transcription errors, e.g. “bite” instead of “byte” when referring to computer memory). He does have a useful glossary in the back for non-technical readers. Photographs of the people, places and products discussed would have been a welcome addition.

At first I thought this book would only serve me for the leadership position I convey as an airline pilot. However, as I read this book I came to realize that true leadership comes not only in the form of work and career, but in my family, community and my own life. There were such valuable insights in this easy-to-read booklet that I know I will reference it again and again. I appreciate the author taking the time to consider the multi-faceted leadership skills. Must read for anyone looking to improve and get an edge in the paths of career, family and relationships.

I first approached JS by buying Eloquent JavaScript and after few chapters I got completely demotivated in continuing studying from that book. Simple concepts were made outrageously complex whereas complex topics didn’t get the treatment they deserved. I then tried few online Udemy courses which were great but can never be as organized as a book.
Then the new edition of Flanagan’s JS guide was released. This book is not an easy bedtime reading. There are tons of concepts to learn there which are often recursive in different chapters, ie you can’t really skip or change the topic sequence of the book.
However I think that the author does a v good job in helping readers understating via precised and short code examples.
So far this is the best book I read on the subject. It is also updated with the latest lexicon of ES6. Remember JavaScript is a living language which get regularly updated and enriched. Books which were good 5yrs ago might not be relevant today any longer. Definitely recommended to whoever is serious in learning the language.

This product is great. I would definitely encourage you to purchase it. I got the machine today, it came packed very well and there wasn't any damage to the machine. I got the machine home, I had it delivered to my work, opened it up and it was in a few pieces that were easy to assemble. So the machine is all set to go so I fill the top with ice to the line and close it, no problems, I slide the ice nozzle over to add my ingredient's and then put it back, very intuitive. Plugged it in, turned it on, chose the settings and pushed the start button. Now this is the only reason this product doesn't get five stars. When I hit that start button this thing came to life like you wouldn't believe. It started to shave the ice on top of the machine and blend the mix in the container and the sound it made was incredible. It was VERY loud, and I mean LOUD. Now this is normal and really to be expected because hey it's high powered blender and a heavy duty ice shaver powering away to make you some frosty goodness as fast possible. So to be fair I had to take a star away for the noise. When you set this thing off everyone around is going to look at what the racket is, but I would say it's a small price to pay. So now the cycle is done and it looks good and icy and mixed like it should be. So I take my glass and push it up against that lever of icy happiness and it comes to life again, a little less than before because the ice shaver on top stays off, and out it comes with some pretty good force. There were some really small drops that bounced out of my glass, like a really fine mist, no problem though. So I take that first sip and it's good, not great though because I like my drinks a little more icy so what do I do? I hit that shave ice button and fill the container with more shavings till it looks like the arctic and hit the blend button for a second and now it's Great. I just love this machine. I'm in Southern California and it's going to get plenty hot this summer and this miracle of icy joy is going to make those days pass by with no problems, as long as I don't run out of mix and ice. So don't hesitate to hit that order button, I know this baby is pricy but it is definitely worth it. It's 80 degrees at 10 at night as I'm writing this and I have to tell you this "Frozen Concoction" I have here sweating away, instead of me, has me feeling cool as a cucumber. I also would recommend the extended warranty I got when I bought the machine. I know, I know usually they are a waste of money but for $30-$40 for 4 years they pay for shipping it back and if it can't be fixed they give you your money back. Now I tell you for that amount of money how can you go wrong? It pays for itself just with the shipping costs. So Frosty goodness and peace of mind, you can't go wrong. Thank you.

I had my doubts about this inverter, as it is a modified sine wave. However, it has been more than adequate for the job!! Make sure that you have plenty of battery, you going to need it to run the air conditioner during the summer. It's hard to believe now, but Dean Koontz first began his career as a writer of science fiction. He wrote around thirty short SF novels in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and STAR QUEST was his very first one.

STAR QUEST was published by ACE Books. Back in the 1960s, Ace used to issue "Double" books, which were basically two short novels in one. STAR QUEST is a "Double" book, packaged with another short novel entitled DOOM OF THE GREEN PLANET, which I have not read.

STAR QUEST is an enjoyable debut. It deals with a character named Tohm, who lives in a futuristic universe where two races are at war with one another. The plot of this novel is quite complicated, and is brimming with interesting concepts. Writers accustomed to Koontz's suspense work will be surprised to see how much imagination and creativity he displays in this story. STAR QUEST isn't a great novel, but it's a fun read with a lot of ideas, action, and romance.

All of Koontz's SF work is now out of print, so STAR QUEST is quite the collector's item. Although I enjoyed it, I personally don't think it's worth paying a large amount of money for. Still, if you can find a copy, it's well worth reading, especially if you're a hardcore Koontz fan like myself.

This combined first two books of the Chesapeake Bay saga [Sea Swept and Rising Tides] introduces us to the Quinns, a family of now-grown bad boys adopted by Dr. Quinn and her husband, both great role models for anybody. The saga opens with the gathering of the three men due to the dying of their last parent, the father, in the first book which tells world-traveler/champion boat racer Cameron's story, and introduces the central problem of the series which all three brothers have to resolve: Seth, a young boy with mysterious background - who looks remarkably like their father, the father that they know would never have been unfaithful to their now-deceased mother. Because he is dying as a result of an auto accident while transporting Seth to his home, there is no time - and no document - to explain. But Seth needs the three brothers Quinn as much as they ever needed the two wonderful people who adopted them. Who is Seth? What is his relationship to the Quinns, and what happened to the money in the Quinn banking account? How can three men whose careers span the world take care of Seth? Without some authority or legal relationship, how can they even keep Seth, with the system ever-ready to gobble him up? Why is Seth so afraid???? RISING TIDES tells Ethan's story. Deeply scarred by his early life, Ethan alone remained in the area, making his living on the sea, and dreaming of building beautiful boats. Each of the brothers has to make sacrifices and changes to be true to their upbringing and the promise they made to their father, but it's especially hard for Ethan, who has become a loner out of what he believes is necessity. The story of how the brothers mesh their lives, woo the reluctant and fearful Seth into brotherhood, and finally unravel the mysteries continues into the third book, and Seth's adult story completes the series with the fourth Chesapeake Bay book. Entertaining and uplifting, this is a great buy!

This is another good mystery story by Erle Stanley Gardner. I especially like his Perry Mason series. I like to try to figure out who 'dunnit' before I get to the end of the book. I failed this time. There was one thing that Perry Mason does that was not entirely ethical, which surprised me. Alto the series was written years ago you would not realize it, except for the mention of the rotary phone and the manual typewriter! I will read it again at some later date. I liked it that well.

I've read other books by James Patterson, particularly his Maximum Ride series. I've read every one of the Max Ride books and I'm always pleased when I stumble upon a new one in the book store. That being said I can say unequivocally: DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. Witch and Wizard is an awful book, one of the worst I have ever read, and I read a lot.
I came across this book as a sneak peak to the sequel, The Gift, in the back of another book. I was intrigued, it seemed different and interesting, and the chapter stopped right at a moment that makes you want to read more. When I went online to check it out, I found it was the second book in a series which I bought for my Kindle without reservation.
When I sat down to read it I was disappointed. Very, very disappointed. I persevered for a few chapters and got about half way through the book before I gave up in disgust. There are many things wrong with this book, but the plot flaws and the indistinct characterisation were the most discouraging.
Firstly the characterisation. There is no distinction between the different characters: they don't have their own voice or way of operating, and their reactions to the events of the story are wholly unrealistic. Plus there are the stupid names given to several characters, especially one of the protagonists, Wisteria, more commonly known as 'Wisty'. Now Wisteria is a cool unusual name that the right character could embrace but Wisty sounds like a nickname an older brother would tease his sister with. It is also hard to take an evil organisation seriously when their leader is called 'The One Who Is the One'. The defiant and rude attitude of the main protagonists, the Allgood siblings, didn't make any sense. In the Max Ride books this is a signature of the flock, but it makes sense because they have always been on the run from evil scientists and were basically raised on the streets, so their spunky mistrust for authority figures makes sense. It doesn't for the well brought up, suburban middle class Allgoods who have never had any contact with the police.
The plot flaws are also really frustrating, it just doesn't make sense. The evil government: New Order, snatch the Allgoods from their home in the middle of the night, throw them in jail but let each kid take one possession from their home. Why would an evil government, who have re-written the laws let their prisoners take keepsakes or potential weapons. They've just arrested the pair for witchcraft but let them take a blank book and a drumstick with them into prison. When in prison the pair are also allowed to stay in the same cell rather than being separated. All of this just points to sloppy story telling. A little bit of creativity would have done wonders for this book.
I know this sounds a bit like a rant (which admittedly it is), but that's only because I liked his previous works and was really disappointed to find something so amateurish. I absolutely would not recommend this book, even if you're a fan of Patterson's work, it is predictable, poorly written and very flawed. It feels more like a first draft than a published book, and should not be read by any one.

This film may be slow for our standards, as we are more related with quick action when thinking about samurais. However, it could be interesting if some previous "clues" are known.
1) Homoerotic relationships were accepted in Japan. It was until the 2nd half of 19th century, when Japan wanted to be cope with Western Culture, that these relationships vanished from public records.
2) Homoerotic relationships followed a cultural and social code, were ranking of those involved -lover, loved and their lord- were as important as the ways to offer your love to another man. Even hairdoes were related to roles (young pages used long locks and were loved-ones, grown-ups used adult hairdoes and were lovers, in the erastes-eromenos model, similar to Greeks). This film is based in that.
3) This film becomes a thriller, as main characters are breaking those rules and some murderers are planned, around a same-sex lovers couple.
4) To understand last scene, we must remember that poetic figure to describe someone beautiful and good is to compare her/him with a cherry blossom. Cutting it down means the guy is not worth admiring.
So, this film is interesting. If you want to read about homoerotics among samurais,look for a colection of short stories written by SAIKAKU IHARA in the 17th century. Those are cute!

My 4 year-old daughter and I are huge Busytown fans, so we were excited to discover this newly released series of readers based on Richard Scarry's classic characters. In this book, A Smelly Story, Huckle loses his new watch while taking out the garbage. Hilarity ensues as Huckle, Lowly, and friends chase the garbage across town and retrieve the watch just in time to realize that it's definitely now "time for a bath!"

While not written by Richard Scarry himself, this book seemed to capture Scarry's whimsical sense of humor perfectly, and my daughter and I loved it. Not only was the story cute, but it was also a very well-written early reader. My daughter was so proud that she could read it almost all by herself! Definitely recommended!

In this sequel to The War Chief, Burroughs avoids stereotypes in a fast-paced story set in the American Southwest during Geronimo's last years before he surrendered and was imprisoned. Apaches, Anglos, and Mexicans interact in this story. There are good guys on all sides, and the bad guys are all white. This is not a simple-minded Western, but more a historical novel that respects Geronimo and his way of life.

Published in 1933, Burroughs tells the story of Shoz-Dijiji, the Black Bear, who cannot fully explain his attraction to Wichita Billings. When the Black Bear takes the warpath their mutual attraction complicates their lives. The book is a good fact-based yarn that deserves broader respect and reading.

I found this documentary about A man who saw a white horse in a lineup of horses who were headed to the plant to be made into dog food.
He saw something in the horses eyes who caused him to pay $80 dollars for him.
He was called the Cinderella horse.

Snowman reminded me of my Satchmo. an old cowboy Uncle Joe saved him from being made into dog food.
I paid a dollar a day to ride him.
When Uncle Joe died, he niece sold him to me for 100 dollars.
And she sold me the saddle for $75.
His conformation wasn't all that great, he had a sway back, his head was too long, Feet too big, he was also raw boned and the back bone was really high I could ride him bare back because he was so comfortable.
I’ve ridden Tennessee walkers who weren’t as comfortable as Satchmo.
he was bullit proof as well, the kids could lay on him when he was napping.
If someone was on him who couldn’t ride he would not even trot.
Even if they were behind a rider who could ride.
I could take a nap while we were trotting home after an 8 hour ride.
He was also sure footed.
I could go on and on, but this movie is a true winner.

It's been years since I first saw this movie. You'll find this is a great movie, suitable for viewing by the whole family.

Set in an earlier time (1986), when mailmen still walked the streets delivering mail to neighbors they knew as friends, Harry's War tells the tale of mild mannered postman Harry Johnson (Edward Hermann) who takes his two children on vacation to visit aging aunt Beverly (Geraldine Paige) in the town where he grew up.

Aunt Beverly is a grandmotherly type who is generous to a fault, but is refusing to buckle under what she considers onerous tax bills and harassment from the IRS. She tells Harry she wants him to take everything she owns because, if he doesn't take it all, the IRS will. Harry agrees to help Aunt Beverly and packs up his home belongings and moves to Aunt Beverly's mission - an old home on a military parts junk yard.

Background IRS meetings and conversations clearly describe an adversarial relationship is brewing, supported by bureaucrats looking for advancement in the IRS, confusing IRS rules and regulations, etc. Harry's meetings with the IRS are increasingly frustrating, an IRS spy is found having dinner with the mission, and Harry's bank account is seized. Then to IRS tax court, blatant IRS injustice, and Aunt Beverly's collapse in court. And so the tale begins.

I don't want to give away the whole plot, but you will find it's an hilarious romp through Harry's attempt to regain his property by declaring war on the IRS... on live television. Well worth the viewing. Rumor has it that the IRS banned this movie years ago, so I'm personally glad to see it available again on DVD.

The vision of Harry driving through town in an army half-track still burns clearly in my mind. Great movie!

It's 1926, the Jazz Age before the Great Depression and New York City is hopping in more ways than one. In Europe, Gellert Grindewald, a dark wizard still on the run, has spread terror with his attacks on Muggles. He wants to start a war between Muggles and magicians.

As in Europe, the NYC population of No-Majs (No-Magic, the American term for Muggles) have only suspicions that there are magicians among them. To keep it that way, the American wizarding community has strict laws, enforced by MACUSA, including a ban on magical beast ownership in the U.S.

Enter Newt Scamader. Literally. He disembarks a ship in New York Harbor with a small suitcase and it soon becomes apparent that he is not only holding magical beasts in his suitcase but those beasts are prone to escaping.

But is it Newt's fault that a horrific gray cloud is descending on NYC streets to kill people and destroy buildings? MACUSA thinks so. The truth is MUCH more interesting.

I think "Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them" is a great addition to PotterWorld. The first time I watched it, I thought it was good though a little slow sometimes. The 2nd time, because I knew the story, I was able to pay more attention to detail and production values. Now I think it is a very good movie. In particular, it is a lot of fun to pay attention not just to the main action, but the background, and find hints of the Harry Potter world in the original films. One of those, incidentally, is NOT Leta Lestrange. We know the Lestrange last name of old, but Leta did not appear on the original family tree in "The Order of the Phoenix."

If you watch the movie on BluRay/DVD, you can have the options of audio in English Descriptive Video, French or Spanish. You can also watch with subtitles in English, French or Spanish.

I enjoyed the Special Features on the BluRay/DVD release. They have interviews, film clips and rehearsal clips with a total of some 32 people commenting. The only audio on the Special Features is English. But they have subtitles available in English, French, and 3 more languages which I'm not sure of because they are not shown in English letters.
....A..."Before Harry Potter: A New Era of Magic Begins" (15 minutes) Alison Sudol (plays Queenie) says, "Friendship is something that Jo [JK Rowling] does beautifully. It's always a very strong through-line in all of her stories."
....B..."Characters: The Magizoologist, Goldstein Sisters, No-Maj Baker, New Salemers, and The Presidennt and the Auror" (total 23 minutes) Hear from writers, crew and the cast. Eddie Redmayne (plays Newt) talks about developing his character, "I went about it by meeting people from the zoologist world, meeting trackers. They would talk passionately about their techniques and their methods." This was particularly helpful in the hilarious scenes with the Erumpent.
Dan Fogler talks about Jacob and Queenie, "There are strict laws, especially in New York, that we're not allowed to be together, which also mirrors the racism of the time. It's really beautiful how J.K. parallels all of these cultural conundrums."
Last, but not least, J.K. Rowling, "This is the back story [of the Barbones] you don't learn in the movie." Watch this bonus to find out.

David Heyman (producer): "We visited New York [City] and did a scout there. There is remarkably little of New Yok 1926 in New York today." So they created it at Warner Brothers Leavesden back lot in 15 weeks. Most movies would only dream that they had enough money to do that.
David Watkins (special effects supervisor) shares great footage of how they filmed the Obscurus damage at the Shaw Banquet.
....E..."Deleted Scenes" (total 14 minutes) There are 5 scenes. The character of Mildred was totally deleted and I think the film is better for it.

The funniest and most open-minded baker in the world: "I don't think I'm dreaming. I don't got the brains to make this up."

I'm looking forward to the next Newt Scamander installment. It sounds like there will be at least 3 movies total. For one thing, we'll learn more about the best wizarding school in the U.S., Ilvermorny in Massachusetts. The houses are the Horned Serpent, Wampus, Thunderbird and Pukwudgie. This was for my daughter’s wedding shower it was beautiful

I bought it for my friend but it was super cute and looks just like the picture provided. The shirt material was very soft and seems high quality.

This book (and its sequel, Rebel Empire, too) is very good, probably a 4 or 4.5 star work, but it has one huge, jarring flaw that makes it difficult to read. First, what's good: Its change to our timeline is perfectly reasonable--Stonewall Jackson doesn't die, the CSA wins at Gettysburg, and the Civil War comes to an early end, with the South independent. It delivers interesting and realistic characters, and reasonable plotting. (I quibble with Bennett's treatment of W T Sherman &, especially, U S Grant, but that's surely the author's prerogative.) The dialogue is generally well done, and the plotting is great. So, a worthwhile, enjoyable read.

And now, the problem: There is a huge, jarring, continuing, and pervasive failure of even the most basic level of editing. Sound like a piddling quibble? It ain't. This book is a great example of why every author needs a good editor. Examples: "[Somebody] through the cup against the wall." "...Her Majesties Government..," and later, "...Her Majesties Army...." "New" instead of "knew," "your" for "you're," "mini balls" for "Minie balls" (maybe because they're so small?). And on and on. Compound words almost invariably show up as two words (e.g., gang plank, peg leg, point blank). And the author's approach to the use of the apostrophe suggests a system of random distribution in general proximity to the letter S. If this happened a dozen times throughout the book, or even a couple of dozen, it really wouldn't be worthy of mention, and certainly not of a diatribe anywhere near this long. But it is continual, and it is egregious. It disrupts the flow of the narrative. (Anything that makes you smack your forehead every three pages can, I think, reasonably be described as disrupting the narrative flow.)

So, I say, it's a worthwhile book, but be warned--You're gonna notice.

Broke the same day

Update: we originally loved these tapes! Unfortunately, when we left the roads on our laminate wood floors for more than just a little bit (i.e. for a few days), our floors were ruined. We have tried adhesive remover, magic eraser, wd40, Murphy's oil...nothing works! I think the tape actually removed the laminate (as opposed to leaving adhesive). Miserable!

So much fun! My 3 year old loved setting up his track all around the house, making intersections with the different colors. He loves playing with cars anyway, but this opened up some more imaginative play. It does tear easily enough (and straight) that he was able to rip it on his own when he decided the road was ready for a dead end. When we were done with that particular set up, they peeled off the floor with no problem!

This recipe book has got to be one of the best recipe books ever. And I mean - the instructions are exactly on point. If the book says you'll fry onions for 15 minutes, you'll fry them for 15 minutes. I love to cook, and nothing gets under my skin more than recipes that say "fry an onion for 2 minutes until golden" and you KNOW that it takes at least 15 minutes to have a golden fried onion, and then in reality, you spend 15 minutes instead of 2 minutes as the recipe called for. So, with this book, it says 15 minutes, it's 15. It says 2-3 minutes, it's 2-3 minutes. I love it. All quantities are also exact. I've made a lot of recipes from this book already, and they have all been 100% on point. Meera Sodha has got to be simply the best recipe writer.

The recipes themselves are delicious and fairly easy to make (probably too complicated for a person who only knows how to boil an egg, but if you've done an entree before, then you'll be able to follow these recipes just fine). That said, this is an Indian cookbook, so you'll need the spices (and a spice grinder to make it really top-notch) to make these dishes. This cookbook also has recipes on how to make things like paneer (cheese) from scratch or make your own spice mix (garam masala), and I've done both, and it was incredibly straightforward. I'm amazed that I managed to make my own paneer, and it's all thanks to this book.

Lastly, the author lives (and was born) in the UK, and she has a Western understanding of ingredients (i.e. limit the butter, etc). In her recipes and the short notes above each recipe, she explains how she deviates from the traditional recipes, if she does, and I like her honesty and her humor.

If you want a great book on Indian cooking, get this one. It is one of my favorite cookbooks of all time, and I have a hefty collection of cookbooks.

These inexpensive Kidpar Christmas Cards/Money Holders were available to me through the Amazon Vine program. The cards came in cellophane, separated into 5 sections by card design. The cards are fairly cheap quality; they’re thin and the insides are somewhat yellowed. The cards can hold dollar bills (loosely; won’t fit in slots), and have slots for 2 gift cards. Personally, I think if you only give one gift card, it looks like a gift card is missing from the other set of slots. Regardless, most kids are more interested in the contents of the cards ($$$) than the cards, so these will work. These cards are made in China.

I usually don't give bad reviews and wanted to give them a chance to redeem their product.

I ordered the koala hat and found out the nose and white-mouth center piece patch were uneven. I contacted customer service which they were really sweet about it, so they sent me another hat. The other 1 came in, but still had a crooked nose so I went ahead and fixed both of those. But then, I noticed that the second one sent in had a rip on the top right ear. I was very saddened. I have 2 hats now and spent little money on it, so I didn't go on the hassle to get a refund and send them back.
The fit was alright, mind you my head is around a L/XL hat size. It fit around the half of my forehead.

Got these for my husband because he loves sheep! They are nice socks but a little expensive, more of a novalty gift item.

This blouse fits perfectly fine to the body but the shoulders are keep falling off. It’s embarrassing to keep pulling up. Will not use it again.

Little salty

This is our favorite Aussie style soft black licorice aside from the kind Trader Joe's used to carry in a plastic bin-style container. That one had a slightly less bitter taste and a slightly better texture. We've bought this brand three times so far, twice from Amazon and once from Raleys. This last batch of six bags all at once was the first truly fresh batch we've gotten. It's wetter and stickier than I'd prefer, but worth it, because it's the best flavor we've found since the TJs kind that they've discontinued. The single bag we got from Raleys was moderately fresh and we actually liked it better, because it was less wet and sticky. The other bag or two we got from Amazon was rock hard and a bit tough to chew. Overall that batch was a disappointment, but it the flavor made it still good enough to eat. We wish it had the twist texture instead of being smooth, especially because it is sticky. Overall we are still missing our original favorite, but this is a very close second. We don't like the other most popular brand at all. The texture of that one is too rubbery and the flavor is not complex like this one is. Darrell Lea makes a really good Aussie style soft licorice. We haven't yet tried any of their other candies.
