Warren Buffett - 41 Fascinating Facts about Life & Investing Philosophy: The Lessons From A Legendary Investor
I enjoyed reading this book based on 41 factoid from Warren Buffett investment life and philosophy. Some of it was surprising, like the fact that he does not believe in diversification, and much of it as educational, particularly his explanation of the mistakes his made along his legendary career. This book is not great literature, but I found it educational and entertaining.

All the Rave: The Rise and Fall of Shawn Fanning’s Napster
All the Rave: The Rise and Fall of Shawn Fanning’s Napster
Here we have a voluminous history of the Napster phenomenon, but only from a certain jaundiced angle. As a critical outside journalist, Joseph Menn was unable to directly interview some of the principal players in the saga, and often relies on legal documentation. In turn, much of his research is based on secondary sources and hearsay from people not directly involved in the events described. This all taints many parts of the book and reduces its believability. We do get a good rundown of the genesis of Napster, as teenage computer whiz Shawn Fanning and some ambitious hacker friends had a brilliant idea about music file sharing, which then got far more monstrous than anyone could have ever expected. Menn then spends most of the book describing the byzantine investment deals and corporate wheeling and dealing to launch the doomed Napster corporation, in ways that were preposterous even during the dot-com bubble. In the end, enthusiastic people with great ideas tried to cash in, and watched forlornly as others let everything crash and burn.

These investigations by Menn are initially informative but descend into a tiresome swamp of nitpicking and unnecessary details that detract from the more interesting cultural ramifications of the Napster craze. And the biggest problem is that Menn gets very personal, especially when describing the business executives who got involved in Napster after its incorporation - piling on criticisms from other people who are clearly not neutral observers, and dwelling uselessly on people's love lives and personal transgressions. This goes especially for an apparent personal vendetta that Menn seems to have against John Fanning, Shawn's uncle and business strategist who muscled his way into prominence based on his nephew's invention. It's reasonably evident that John Fanning was a poor businessman and unfairly latched onto his nephew for his own gain. However, be suspicious of an author who relies on character assassinations toward someone who refused to give him an interview. Menn's questionable personal motivations and general focus on unnecessary details damage what could have been a very insightful book. [~doomsdayer520~]
Amazing Grace [Blu-ray]
Amazing Grace [Blu-ray]
mi ero preparato e l'avevo ordinata molti mesi fa.
Unforgettable - A Tribute To Dinah Washington
Unforgettable - A Tribute To Dinah Washington
This beautiful album released in 1964 shortly after Washington's death Is Aretha's sixth studio album. It is in no way an imitation of the great singer's voice, they are very different singers, but a tribute to Washington's soulful side. Who better to capture this than the queen of soul herself. She captures the irreverent and blues driven ballad Evil Gal Blues perfectly somehow making it her own and still honoring Washington for whom it was a signature. Johnny Mercer's Drinking Again, another Washington favorite is given a beautiful intensity hear. She takes on two notable standards What a Diff'rence a Day Made and Unforgettable are performed with a distinct soul flavor, just as Dinah gave them, but still unique. If you are either an Aretha fan or a Washington fan this album is a must have.
High Society
High Society

I buy all Dylan’s records. Up there in importance and relevance with Elvis and the Beatles. But he carried on and on and multiplied his impact with his craft/art. This live cd is worth having even if you have these songs because he adds something new each time he performs.
Deservedly a Nobel prize winner.

GUND Baby Spunky Huggybuddy Stuffed Animal Plush Blanket, Blue, 15"
After reading reviews, I thought my 4 month baby boy wouldn't be interested in this for a few months but I was wrong. HE LOVES THIS PUPPY!! It's very soft on one side and satiny on the other side. Like everyone else has said, it is quite large. The head of the puppy is almost as big as my son's head which is perfect because my son is a side sleeper! He rolls over to his side and cuddles with his head and that gives his arms a place to rest and he falls right to sleep. It does wash and dry very well.

**update** we also weaned my son off his wubbanub/soothie pacifiers at 6 months and he now sucks/chews on the puppies ears instead. It wasn't magic, there was some self soothing involved but after a week he always sleeps with this puppy and no longer wants a paci. I cannot tell you how much he LOVES his doggie.

I'm kind of a badge holder kind of guy at work. I've always used my company stuff, the plastic badge holders, and they've broken basically once a year over the past forever years. It's a decent approach, except that I work for an engineering firm and quality in construction is kind of a thing for us.

I got this simply because it seemed like decent value and the construction was all metal, not the polyester twine or cotton whatever plasticy stuff that are on most mass production badge holders. Take a look at my photos - high quality metal, super weighty stuff, twined tightly, just beautiful stuff. I'm pretty sure this would survive the apocalypse.

So all in all, very good - I'm highly recommending this product.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
Avengers Infinity War
Laufzeit 149 min
Aspect Ratio: 2.39:1
Ton: englisch DTS-HD MA 7.1, deutsch Dolby Digital Plus 7.1
Regie: (erneut) Anthony und Joe Russo
Hautprollen: u.a. Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo

Durchgehender Innendruck: Filmszene

Beinhaltet:
Blu-Ray 3D und Blu-Ray 2D
je in Marvel/Disney typsichem langweiligem Blau, ohne Artwork.

Marvel 6 Inch Legends Masters of Magic: Dr. Strange
Marvel 6 Inch Legends Masters of Magic: Dr. Strange
I really enjoy this figure, the details and paint apps are spot on. I chose this one because I prefer how he looks in the comic to the movie. I think the movie version's head looks a tad large in comparison to his body and this figure features an awesome cape which is better than the previously available figure. That is why I decided on this one and I am very pleased.

I like all the paint apps and details, especially on the cape. I wish I knew if the cape was removable or not but it doesn't limit his poseability at all. The one issue that the cape does have is it makes him a little prone to falling over. Would be cool if this figure came with a figure stand to keep him from falling over but I can always prop him up against a book or use a figure stand I already own.

The articulation on this figure is really impressive. I also collect WWE elite figures and this figure is on par with that in terms of articulation, maybe even a little better since the arms are double jointed at the elbow. I wish the plastic were a little smoother sculpted though, I think that in some places it looks a little rough not that its a big deal. There are some rough edges that bug me but its easily overlooked.

The magic effects look neat in his hands and there are a few ways he can hold them which is always neat. I will point out that his fingers might be something that you want to be careful with if you (or your kid) are rough on figures. If you toss them around I am sensing a potential for them breaking off but if you just pose your figures then you don't have a need to worry.
Always By My Side: Life Lessons from Millie and All the Dogs I've Loved
Always By My Side: Life Lessons from Millie and All the Dogs I've Loved
This book is both a wonderful ode to pet dogs and a study of human life and relationships. Ed Grinnan is a wonderful writer (and editor) who easily moves through and among various storylines to tell an effective tale. This is a book that really speaks to dog lovers and owners, though others could appreciate the brilliant writing. Most dog owners, like myself, can really feel and recognize Mr. Grinnan's joys and heartbreaks and blessings. Be warned, this book is quite the tear-jerker. Readers who want strict sequence and direct timelines may not like the indirect journeys taken by the author. It's a little hard to follow the order of dogs owned by the Grinnans, and the back and forth timeframes involved. But the order of things and the timeline are much less important than the overall story of how our pet dogs affect our lives in ways both obvious and mysterious.
Ride the River (Sacketts Book 5)
Ride the River (Sacketts Book 5)
Here's why I hate it. This is a fantastic book. My all time favorite. But the e-book has DMR which prohibits me from moving it from my PC to my Kindle. I BOUGHT THE DAMNED THING. I OWN IT, but unlike a paperback, I cannot lend it to a friend. I can't even transfer it from my Desk Top PC to my Kindle so I can continue reading in another room.

In the never ending battle to protect income, the publishers have created a real snafu. I will NEVER EVER PURCHASE AN E-BOOK WITH DMR AGAIN. Big fat waste of money. Rather have a paperback which I can get for $0.01 plus shipping (about the same price).

Also, the hoops I had to jump thru to return it were obnoxious. It takes a phone call and a few transfers until you can get someone who speaks English well enough to be undersoood.... even for the most patient of us, this is just too much. Very disappointed in Amazon right now.

The Human Monster
The Human Monster
Dr. Orloff (Bela Lugosi) is the ruthless proprietor of a life insurance agency. In his spare time he sponsors a charity Home for the blind. He also serves as a medical advisor to the institution. Of course it is actually a front for his nefarious dealings. He loans money to those who are short on funds using their life insurance policies as guarantee. He does this for his special clients. Those who have no relatives. Then he kills them. Orloff finds out that one of his clients, (Henry Stuart (Gerald Pring), who he thought had no relatives, actually has a daughter, Diana (Greta Gynt), who is returning from America.

Scotland Yard is finding bodies in Thames River. Quite a few of them. As part of their investigation they learn that the victims have life insurance policies with Dr. Orloff. Detective Inspector Larry Holt (Hugh Williams) is sent to find out what he can. Eventually he finds out that the policies have the Dearborn Home for the Blind as the sole beneficiary. The latest victim turns out to be Diana’s father.

The investigation into the drownings shows that the victims were drowned in tap water and then put into the Thames. Its now officially murder. Suspicion falls on Dr. Orloff and the Dearborn charity.

The Dearborn Home for the Blind is located in a seedy part of town in an old warehouse that is next to the Thames. The institution is run by Professor John Dearborn. He is blind himself and requires assistance to maintain the records for the home. He needs a seeing person as a secretary. He hires Diana to work for him. Diana’s reason to apply for the job is to snoop around the Home. She finds much more than she expects.

“The Human Monster” was released in 1940 in the US, 1939 in the UK and was directed by Walter Summers. It is a British film and was titled “Dark Eyes of London” in the British release. The European English speaking version was titled “Dead Eyes of London”.

The movie was based on a story by Edgar Wallace. The man that penned “King Kong”. There are a couple distinctions for this little movie in Britain’s film industry. It was the first to receive an “H” rating. This was a new rating specifically designed to discourage the horror genre. An “H” rating meant adults only. Anyone under the age of sixteen was not allowed. Period. It was also the last horror movie released in Britain before WWII. Horror movies weren’t again made until after the war was over.

Comic relief is in the form of Lieutenant Patrick O’Reilly (Edmon Ryan) as an American police officer who is there to learn British police procedure and is kind of on loan to Scotland Yard.

Lugosi is quite evil in this film and quite good. Actually he’s excellent. It’s one of his best performances so do yourself a big favor and make sure you get a good transfer or you will not enjoy it. I’d hate to see this movie go by the wayside. It deserves better.

Mistletoe and Holly (Holiday Classics)
I was really enjoying this story, thinking this is one I will definitely read again. But then the tone changed, the warmth was gone. Tagg became very heavy handed in his approach to getting Leslie to agree to a serious relationship. Also, he seemed to change a bit from his loving father persona. He seemed cold and a bit calculating. I did not care for his last statements, telling her what she would do. I am sorry I paid the price for this book, I will be deleting it from my library. I was really just left cold after reading and that rarely happens.
Perilous and Fair: Women in the Works and Life of J. R. R. Tolkien
Perilous and Fair: Women in the Works and Life of J. R. R. Tolkien
In J.R.R. Tolkien's books women play an important, though limited, role. There are no female characters at all in The Hobbit (actually causing Peter Jackson to create one for his movie version), and while there are a number of important women in The Lord of the Rings, the characters who are present in every chapter are all male. This has led some critics to label Tolkien misogynistic or merely schoolboyish. This collection of essays does much to demonstrate that women's roles in Middle-earth, as well as Tolkien's own attitudes towards females, are much more varied and complex than popular belief would have it.

The 14 essays are divided into five groups: Historical Perspectives, Power of Gender, Specific Characters, Earlier Literary Contexts, and Women Readers. As a former history teacher myself I most enjoyed two of the essays in the first section: John D. Rateliff's "The Missing Women," which challenges the conception that Tolkien spent his life in masculine society by detailing the women with whom he had family, social, and professional connections and by emphasizing his strong, and at the time unusual, support for women's higher education; and also Sharin Schroeder's "She Who Must Not Be Ignored," which examines gender and genre in both The Lord of the Rings and in such Victorian "boy's books" as H.R. Haggard's "She," which Tolkien is known to have read and enjoyed. I also liked "Power in Arda," by Edith L.Crowe and "The Fall and Repentence of Galadriel" by Romuald I. Lakowski in the second and third sections for their insights into Tolkien's ever changing conceptions about his sub-creation. And again because of my background in history I really liked Melissa A. Smith's "At Home And Abroad," on Eowyn as a war bride! The fourth section's "The Valkyrie Reflex" by Leslie A. Donovan makes some fascinating analyses of Galadriel, Eowyn, Arwen, and (!) Shelob while Maureen Dunn's "Hidden in Plain View" makes some fascinating comparisons between Shakespeare and Tolkien's female characters. The fifth section has one essay, Una McCormack's "Finding Ourselves in the "(Un)Mapped Lands," which describes some intriguing fanfictions on some of Tolkien's lesser known female characters like Ioreth and Lothiriel (as well as some Middle-earth women created by the fanfiction writers themselves).

As with any good collection of critical essays readers will find much with which to agree and disagree, but every selection is well worth reading. Most importantly, readers' appreciation for J.R.R. Tolkien's work will be enhanced by the insights and conclusions to be found within Perilous And Fair.
Main Street #1: Welcome to Camden Falls
Main Street #1: Welcome to Camden Falls
The excellent book and it's remarkable cover are equally as charming! Indeed you will be welcomed to Camden Falls in this, the first, of the Main Street series. I have not read these in order. Actually, the sequel to this was probably the 1st I read and I've read a bunch since. I finally got to this one and it gives the back story and introduction to further books. While this is a series that you don't HAVE to read in chronological order, it might be a tad bit more necessary to do so, unlike BSC. With it's soap-operaesqe cliffhanging and non-resolve to certain plots, some children may find it easier to start from the beginning. I recommend reading this book outdoors or inside with doors and windows open in maybe late August/early September....the weather really lends to the charm! Sensitive handling of an autistic character as well as of the girl-from-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks. It is a complete mind boggler to me why this series doesn't have at least 100 installments. Ann Martin is just excellent.
A Big Operation (The Busy World of Richard Scarrry)
A Big Operation (The Busy World of Richard Scarrry)
This book is absolutely darling. With a four year old fascinated by gadgets -- particularly those that let her be a doctor -- this book has allowed our "doctor" to all but open up her own private practice. Between magically transforming hairbands into stethoscopes, spoons into reflex hammers, and chopsticks into tongue depressors, Emily has turned our house into one giant hospital. In addition, trips to the "real" doctor are all but begged for. There is only good in this book, and it has provided entertainment for our whole family -- including our newest four month old addition who is a most willing patient.
As espiãs do Dia D (Portuguese Edition)
Double For Death
Double For Death
I remember hearing Rex Stout on radio during his very active wartime civilian activities in the forties. One simply accepted him as one of the group of detective story writers of the period whom one naturally read as the books came out. Not in the same category, of course, as Dashiell Hammett or Raymond Chandler, not a tough guy writer, but in the classic mode of Christie, Sayers, Queen, Allingham and Company. As is true of most successful writers in the group, who made their living from their writing (in his case, there were the results of a prior career to help out), he tried to give his readers a reason for multiple purchases within a single year, by having an alternative to his main character. Erle Stanley Gardner, The Lockridge's, and others were successful in this effort. With Stout, his alternative, once Wolfe was well established, did not work out and Tecumseh Fox became odd man out in the detective literature, tried and failed. Despite that failure, most of his "fans" wouldn't think of not giving him a try, and so I did when he came out with the few entries in the mystery field.
This must be the first time I have read a Fox book since they were first issued. Unlike Wolfe, this character is much more like the author in physical build, although with the same keen, problem solving mind. It is immediately apparent, he did not have the stature, in more than the physical sense, of the highly idiosyncratic Wolfe, did not lend himself to the mystique and cachet, that the successful creation had; nevertheless, the few remnants of that era, including this one, are well worth reading for the puzzle and the people. As I wrote up above, what true classic detective story reader would not want to read this other effort by one of the Grand Masters of the field.
Harry Houdini (History Maker Bios)
Harry Houdini (History Maker Bios)
There are no shortage of Houdini biographies aimed at young readers. My bookshelf currently holds 50 different titles. 'Harry Houdini' by Janet Piehl is the latest, and it is a VERY fine biography in all respects.

First off, the book is well illustrated with a mix of photos and nice original color illustrations by Tad Butler. While there are no new photos here for the hardcore Houdini aficionado, the book does contain a rarely seen pic of Houdini controlling Margery in the Margery Box on page 38, which may be new to some. I also appreciated the photo of New York neck tie cutters in 1889, which gives a feel for the workspace Ehrich Weiss occupied as a teen.

The text is clearly written in simple fact-based sentences that appear to be tailored for reading out loud. The book handles the facts of Houdini's life responsibly and thoroughly. With the exception of saying the Brothers Houdini charmed snakes as part of their act (and maybe they did -- I've just never heard this before), I spotted no inaccuracies or, worse, Houdini mythology stated as fact, which is the scourge of so many Houdini biographies.

In fact, by putting in a sidebar the tale of Houdini's boyhood encounter with a convict while working for a locksmith, and clearly staying that it is "a story that is told," this little bio demonstrates greater responsibility than the newest adult Houdini biography (which plays very fast and loose with this tale). While the many apocryphal tales of Houdini are tempting -- especially when we're talking about tantalizing young readers -- Janet Piehl sticks with the facts. Bravo.

All in all, this is an excellent biography of Houdini and a first rate learning tool for young magic and reading enthusiasts.
Wilderness Visionaries
Wilderness Visionaries
Jim dale Vickery profiles eight men who championed wildlife conservation, preservation, and environmentalism: Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862), John Muir (1838-1914), Robert W. Service (1874-1958), Bob Marshall (1902-1939), Aldo Leopold (1887-1948), Olaus Johan Murie (1889-1963), Calvin Rutstrum (1895-1982), and Sigurd F. Olson (1899-1982). If you're an avid nature fan yourself, you've probably read about some of these men in other books. And yet, here each chapter is more than mere biography. Vickery highlights personal details that bring these men to life again, and we see not just the individuals, but also the natural places that mattered the most to them. We hear what they had to say about those places in their own words. Coincidentally -- or, not -- each of the eight spent at least a little time in Vickery's native Minnesota, and so it is from an additional love of his own land that the author relates the stories. Writers are always advised to write what they know, and that knowledge comes through in this book. An engaging addition to the environmentalist's bookshelf. Finding a used copy is well worth the search.
The Noble Collection Lumos Harry Potter Ravenclaw Charm Bracelet
The Noble Collection Lumos Harry Potter Ravenclaw Charm Bracelet
I was excited when I saw this advertised. As a Harry Potter fan for many years, I am something of a collector. This seemed ideal: a trinket related to my House, Ravenclaw, and an opportunity to also give to the Lumos Charity. I had seen some views and reviews elsewhere online, but went ahead anyway and ordered. Had I seen this in a shop and had the chance to handle it, I would have expected a price of about £5 to £7 maximum. This is nowhere near the quality expected for the hefty price of £42. I would have expected £35 of each sale to be given to charity not a miserable few percent. Some one is making a huge huge profit on every one of these and genuine fans are being ripped off for the sake of wanting a genuine House item and supporting Jo Rowling's charity.

It is a very shoddy bracelet which feels like lightweight silver-painted plastic. The links are so large that they look too big on an adult wrist and would completely dwarf a child's wrist. The Ravenclaw charm is the best part of the bracelet as this is heavier and is clearly metal though looks like cheaper silver-coloured metal not actual silver-plate. This charm is double-sided so can be seen properly which ever way it lies on the wrist. The sorting hat charm is disproportionately large with 2 large eyes with what looks like a bit of dark coloured plastic inset. The 'Lumos butterfly' looks cheap overall but is a pretty purple colour. Shame it looks like a flower, not a butterfly. This is permanently attached to the end of the bracelet, with the hat and Ravenclaw charms as detachable items. The main clasp and 2 charm clasps have a tiny imprint of the butterfly, about 2mm high at the base and a Harry Potter lightening scar imprint, about 5mm long down the edge. Both of these need a bit of a squint to see as they are so small. Watch out for the clasps as they look as though they will break very easily, and the bracelet itself more so. The packaging is quite pretty and more substantial than the goods. Not something to wear every day, if at all.

Not a single person has had anything positive to say about this bracelet over the last few days. The most common response is along the lines of 'why on earth are you wearing that cheap tatt'. On hearing the price, people have laughed, disbelieving and told me that I've been conned. I agree.

If you have money to waste, go ahead, but if you are thinking perhaps of buying a quality item for a young Harry Potter fan, do yourself a favour and treat them to a ticket to the WB Studio Tour in Watford instead - much better value for money. The giftshop can be perused and a better gift chosen.

This was a great investment and with ALL of the extra balloons it came with you really can’t go wrong. I have used a balloon pump before so I knew I needed to get one for myself. It worked well and the balloons it came with seemed to be good quality. I haven’t even gone through half of it because I didn’t need all of the colors it came with. But so far so good. Some people complained about the balloons but I thought they were good quality.
The only con would be that when you turn it on it is just constantly on, the one I used before you had 2 options one where it pumped air out constantly and where you can push down on the pump tip and that’s the only time air would come out. But for the price I am ok with what I have. Just thought I’d share that in case that’s an option you were looking for.
The Elephant's Friend and Other Tales from Ancient India
The Elephant's Friend and Other Tales from Ancient India
The book has interesting animal based stories which capture the kids imagination.
However, as I read the book I had to keep pausing to think some things that bothered me:

8 stories in all. 5 have no female characters.
Of the 3 stories with females, 2 have them as villains. 1 of the villains is portrayed as the tired stereotype of "the nagging housewife". The other villain is a single mother.
The 1 female positive character, is a mother bird who has seven babies. All the baby birds are sons. Hmmm...

These are stories with animal characters which could have been either male or female animals. But almost always, the main character animals are male.
The first female character shows up in the fourth story. She is a mother bird who has seven baby birds. Guess what, all the babies are boys! It wouldnt have affected the story one bit, but would have been more natural to have a mix of boy and girl baby birds. There was no need to identify the babies as sons. They could have been called kids.

Another example is the crocodile story. First this story gives the impression that female crocodiles just wait at home for the male crocodiles who bring food to them. When in reality, all crocodiles have to get their own food.
But the negative representation of the female gender continues further: Not only does the female expect the male to go hunt for her, she also "wouldnt stop nagging - all night".
Now I dont care if crocodiles nag or not, but I feel it gives the kids this negative impression about women/wives.

It seems like there is an intentional attempt to wipe out women/girls from the public arena (your local watering hole such as river or pond or town square) where the "action" happens. And women's only place is at home, being a mother to sons and nagging housewife to well mannered husbands. If the woman is not in these confines, she is extremely poor.

On a slightly different note: In one of the stories, the worker (royal animal caretaker) is being roughed up (choking neck, hanging upside down from feet) by the manager (royal minister) for losing the dog. Maybe this kind of behavior exists/existed, but it shouldnt be presented to kids as normal or okay.

Dear author, Your drawings and animal stories are interesting. I would love to see more books from you as long as they dont eliminate one half of the world.

Can’t go wrong. I have purchased the red and blue one. They are a great size.
In the photo: I first purchased the red one from Walmart, then I saw the blue one on Amazon and ordered it..... COMPLETE SIZE DIFFERENCE!! After the blue one came, I had to go right back on Amazon to get the red one so they would at least be the same size. My 3 year old loves them!!!!

The colors are wonderful. They were stiff so I washed them on a short gentle cycle because they weren't dirty. When I opened the washer I had balls of string. I am going to have to redo most of the seams around the edges - not a project that I am looking forward to at all. I bought these as backup masks as I am a high school teacher and wanted a different color for everyday. I just can't recommend them.

Picked up the Overpowered 15+ for ~$550 a few years ago on sale and it's still the best computer purchase I've ever made. An absolute ripper for the price, I threw in two 16gb sticks of ram, and a larger SSD and it's not only the best laptop I've ever owned, but the best computer and it's ~2 years old now. I'm sure there are better laptops in the world, and obviously, I don't have this specific model, but whenever this thing does eventually go on sale, EVOO will deliver.

Switch Charger for Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, innoAura Type-C AC Adapter Charger, Support TV Mode and Charging Dock, Supply 15V 2.6A Fast Charging
This is well-made and able to easily interface with the Nintendo switch or switch light products to give you a spare charger to have in your travel bag. When traveling with your switch, it is a pain to take apart the dock and base station and power and HDMI that you have set up at your normal display. This gives you the option to keep it all the time in your bag so as you grab and go with your switch, you have a power source with it as well.

[2+3 Packs] PULEN Tempered Glass for iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G Screen Protector (3 Packs) with 2 Packs Camera Lens Protector (6.7 Inch),HD Clear Scratch Resistant Bubble Free Anti-Fingerprints 9H Hardness+Easy Installation Tray
This screen protector has good quality. It fits the edge of the phone perfectly.

I have to take time to carefully align to make sure it fits. You will get a bubble when you put in a new case if the protector doesn't align well.

The oleophobic layer is long-lasting. I have used it for 3 weeks w/o fading away.

The clarity is good and it still transfers color well.

The only minus point for this it is not full coverage. The screen protector does not cover rabbit tail where the camera is.

Other than that, this is good quality protector for a good value.

Redmi phones cameras are great, of course iPhone is better but is the 6 more Redmi phones that I can get for 1 iPhone justifiable for such a difference in price? Well, absolutely yes.
iPhone camera is not just better, it is so much better than comparing them are like comparing a Alto with BMW, yes both have 4 wheels, both have AC, both can run at 100 kmph, but you know the difference.
The high price of iPhone is so justified by the sheer brilliance of camera it has. Sure it is just 12 MP, but the clarity, my o my!
Sure the battery is just about 2600 compared to 3500 of a Redmi, but it lasts longer than a Redmi.
I know I am comparing a low budget phone to a premium one, but there are so many people (I was one of them) who were not able to see the reason behind the steep price of iPhone.
I have been using a MacBook for 10 years and since my work depends on it, I need it, but a phone? Why? It is not a necessity like the laptop, it is just for calling and taking pics occasionally, and I have my SLR for photography.
But I was so wrong, an iPhone is an iPhone. Once you use it, there is no turning back.
My last iPhone was a 4S and then since I love buying phones every 6 months, I shifted to Android (Redmi, Samsung, Honor) to satiate my hunger for new phones. All these phones are superb, no doubt, but once you use the iPhone 7, you know that the difference between these phones and iPhone 6s has got much bigger because of the camera.
And features like Airdrop (100 pics transferred from the phone to Macbook within 4-5 seconds) are so good if you are using both iPhone and Macbook.
Bottom line, iPhone 7 has jumped a big leap from the 6s and the 8 is almost similar. The X is double the price of a 7, so probably all things taken in account, the iPhone 7 is the best value for money among all phones in India

Jura 72570 Glas-Milchbehälter 0,5 L inklusive Milchschlauch, Transparent, 9,2 x 9,2 x 13,5 cm
Preis top, Quali top!

We tried many different ghee brands before – never really satisfied with any one. When we tried this AO ghee; our long lasting quest instantly came to a joyful end right there and then. That taste and smell brought back childhood memories that I wasn’t aware I kept (talking about four decades plus here). This ghee has been an absolute godsend – the best available on earth, literally second to none. I took pleasure to inform all my family & friends. Not only informing them, but I made sure that they taste it when they visit us. We become so enthusiastic and passionate about it. It’s a pricey product, but it still instantly become a staple in our kitchen. After a year and consumption of 14 jars later; ghee in last jar I received few days ago was completely different. I usually transfer some amount from jar to a container using a knife as spatula. That’s been always a “buttery soft” experience on all previous jars (and we always store them at 72F room temperature at all times). But to my horror; product in this jar acted as dense as cheddar cheese. I had to literally muscle it out. Color was lighter (not wonderfully saturated yellow hue as before). Smell was lighter. It also tasted lighter. I wrote a quite harsh critique to provided email on company brochure (presuming that the purity of the product was intentionally compromised – to increase profit margin). I really didn’t expect any meaningful response – may be a canned text from a careless call center clerk at best (as it is the norm nowadays – that includes you Amazon). Still, since we prized that product a lot; I had a sliver of hope that there might be some explanation. To my surprise, owner of the company replied with a sincere explanation. It turns out that Amazon changed warehouse location for them from California to New Jersey. So to make it to my door step; my jar criss-crossed the continent twice over – from California to New Jersey to Seattle, probably freezing and thawing over several times in between (hence “Amazon effect”). That’s probably not the best exposure for such organic product with medicinal properties. Owner of AO immediately acted on to correct things. He’ll probably be looking in ways to optimize Amazon logistics details.
This ghee ranked 10 stars to me before (in Amazon’s 5-star ranking). Now after seeing honesty & integrity of the people behind it; I sincerely and wholeheartedly rank it 20 stars.
Disclaimer : I am in no shape or form related to this company. My reviews can never be paid for or influenced in any other way – other than simply being a good product and honest people behind their product.

This messager is quiet and has multiple setting.

I decided to buy this to treat my facial melasma - I haven't been using it long and am using it in conjunction with other treatments (40% lactic acid peel) but my melasma does seem to be fading slightly and breaking up. It's a thick liquid which I use as a serum before my night moisturizer - it's a bit sticky but is alcohol-free and contains vegetable glycerin so hydrates well - can't hurt to try if you are dealing with pigmentation issues and is much cheaper than many cosmetic formulations which only contain a small amount of licorice extract along with many questionable ingredients!

I want to say I don't do social media marketing/lying and I wasn't compensated in any way for this review.
I ordered Towel Selections, shawl collar 100% Turkish cotton robe in size xl/xxl. I washed it in hot in an older GE washing machine that is not gentle on clothes. The color, gray(it may be the charcoal, forgot already). It arrived with the color as expected and after washing was true to the original color. When the robe arrived it was pakaged nicely. I got it in a few days after placing the order. It is exactly the weight it said it would be. Any thinner, it would be too thin, even for me in San Diego. Any thicker and it would not drape nicely. It drapes very nicely but is thick enough to dry me off completely and cover my machine gun jublies(nipples, if I can say that here?). The robe dries quickly and is very very soft. After washing it in hot, no fabric softener(makes cotton less absorbant) dried on high, I inspected all of the seams, there were no holes or seams out. It did fill the lint trap half way through but we changed it and it finished drying normally. As you can see in the pictures there are very fine threads coming off of the inside seams. They are few and soft so this is a non-issue for me.
If you live in a snowy climate, this is not the robe for you. If you live in a sometimes chilly, sometimes mild, sometimes warmish(southern California) climate, this robe is the perfect weight.
I combed through probably every robe on Amazon over the course of a month before purchasing this robe. I'm glad I did. It's perfect.
I would and still may buy a few more for my sons and my mom.
Get this robe. It's the perfect robe.
Update: Of note; I did have to wash it inside out a couple of times to get the residual lint off. Even then, there was barely any. Still holding up perfectly. It is heavy, given the largest size that I ordered. If you order the largest like we did, you probably won't want to hang it on the back of your bathroom door. We are putting up hooks on the wall for the robe.
